Ok So my kit came today, Its AWESOME!!!!! It took me a little longer than the video to install but mainly because the battery wouldn't fit neatly under my seat...so a bit of rigging later it was ready to go, While my daughter was napping I took it for a little spin on the flat, came back to check on her, then down the hill. I don't know how much charge it comes with but the red light was on...It powered me up the hill no problem, I actually felt a bit guilty at the lack of pedalling. Whatever. After she woke up and I took her for a small hill ride in her burley, I still had to pedal but it made a huffing a puffing hill into a "flat" feeling ride. The whole thing does make the bike heavier but i did find that hitting the button to get up to speed sort of negates that. So I'm Stoked, Can't wait to see the green light, take it for a real long hill, and of course make the battery look a bit better than it's current "i think it will stay" setup.

I finally got my kit delivered, Installed it in about 5 minutes plus a bit of time to figure out placement of the batteries. Here I am riding near the top of the long hill that takes me home. The Hilltopper is great! I don't have any more excuses about the hill keeping me from riding.

I'm still totally stoked with my hilltoppper. It gets me around town with no excuse about the hills anymore.

Hey, so great to hear! And your kids in the trailer? They gettin hauled around no problem too?

Just one kid ,but altogether she and her trailer add about 50 lbs to my rig, hauls with no problem up the hill.

And I put a front fender on so I can ride in the rain! Now I really have no more excuses.
