Hilltopper on a cargo bike?

Postby anujin » Tue Oct 04, 2011 11:38 am

Hi,

I am the happy owner of a new Madsen Cycle which my family intends to use as our primary means of transport. We'll be hauling 3 kids and a bunch of groceries in our new "minivan". I'm in decent shape, but our city has some hills that are challenging with that much cargo weight in tow. I've seen people add the eZee and bionix assist conversion kits to their Madsens, but haven't found any examples of people using the Hilltopper.

Would your lithium kit work with a Madsen Cycle?

Thanks,
Nora

Hi Nora,

Yes, I think the Hill Topper could work for you. I have sold a couple of Hill Topper's to folks who were using cargo bikes for food deliveries as well as hauling the kids around in a bike "mini-van". In fact their is a company in Denver that uses our kit on their fresh produce bike delivery service.
